Another Level (band)

Another Level were a British rhythm and blues band in the late 1990s. It consisted of the members of Wayne Williams (born 19 January 1978), Mark Baron ( born August 17, 1974), Dane Bowers (born 28 November 1979) and Bobak Kianoush (born 1 November 1978).

History

Williams and Bowers knew each other from the Brits Performing Arts School, in their environment, they began to make music together. The rapper Jay -Z took her for his label Northwest Side under contract. On the debut album, the producer of Mary J. Blige, Gordon Chambers and producer of En Vogue Andrea Martin were involved. Another Level started her career with the song Be Alone No More in February 1998, which was advancing up to sixth place in the British charts. The second single Freak Me then went into the UK charts in the first place, the band was awarded the Best Single MOBO Award. Freak Me was a cover version of a hit the group Silk in 1993. The Song From the Heart from the soundtrack Notting Hill finally made AnotherLevel known throughout Europe. Another Level were the opening act of the last Michael Jackson tour.

The band broke up in 2000. Solo projects by Wayne Williams and Dane Bowers were not commercially successful.
