Ans Koning

Johanna " Ans " Koning ( March 27, 1923 in The Hague *, † July 22, 2006 in Capelle aan den IJssel ) for Marriage Hofmeester, was a Dutch athlete. In 1946 she won the bronze medal in the javelin at the European Championships.

Ans Koning was Dutch champion in the javelin in the years 1946, 1947, 1949, 1950 and 1952.

When the first European Championships after the Second World War, which was held in 1946 in Oslo, the Dutch women's team was very strong, Fanny blanker - Koen and Gerda van der Kade Koudijs won two gold medals, including one joint in the relay.
