Anselmo Sule

Anselmo Sule Candia ( born January 27, 1934 in Santiago, † June 7, 2002 in Santiago de Chile) was a Chilean politician.

Sule Candia was from 1969 to 1973 and from 1990 to 1998, the Chilean Senate. In 1972 he was chairman of the Radical Party and was arrested after the military coup in 1973. In 1975 he was deported to Venezuela. From 1976 to 1986 Sule Candia was chairman of the Socialist International.
