Ansovinus

Answin of Camerino (Latin Ansovinus of Camerino, and Oswin, † April 13 861 in Camerino, Italy) was a bishop in central Italy and, according to tradition the Confessor Emperor Ludwig the Pious. He was later canonized.

He received from Louis the Pious, the Office of the Bishop of Camerino in central Italy. Camerino was known for his care for the poor. In art he is represented in episcopal robes. His feast is celebrated and is the 13th of March ( Answin = Friend of God )
