Competence Center

Since the 80s, the CADFEM is based in Grafing the official ANSYS Competence Center FEM for the region of Central Europe. The distributor has offices in Stuttgart, Hannover, Chemnitz, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Berlin and Vienna, Aadorf, Lausanne and Central Plateau. In addition to the programs of ANSYS and LS -DYNA and the FTI Forming Suite are available that integrate directly in ANSYS Workbench. Are also being developed in partnership with Hewlett -Packard and Fujitsu specifically to the requirements of FEM simulations tailored workstations.

In March 2010, ANSYS (Computer Aided Plastic Surgery ) was the Klinikum rechts der Isar in the competition Germany as part of the research group CAPS - excellent land of ideas. This was due to new findings from interdisciplinary cooperation in the field of medicine and engineering, specifically the increased fit of dentures. FEM software, including ANSYS were here used for three-dimensional modeling of bone tissue.
