Antalya-Marathon

Antalya Marathon (full name International Oger Antalya Marathon, also marketed as Runtalya ) is a marathon, to be held in Antalya since 2006 in March. He is next to the Istanbul Marathon is the only marathon in Turkey and is organized by the German travel company Oger Tours. The program also includes a half marathon, a 10 km run and a fun run without timing.

Participants come to a considerable extent from Germany, for example, almost half of the marathon 2008 (165 out of 351 runners at the finish ).

The course is a turning point distance which is measured according to the guidelines of AIMS and IAAF. Shortly after the start point (from 2009 at the Antalya Museum), one passes the old town with the Fluted Minaret, Mosque and Hadrian's Gate and then runs parallel to the cliffs to the east. Halfway in the Lara district is the turning point for the 10- km run, in Lara herself for the half marathon. The marathon runners make the Theme Hotels Lara Beach versa. The goal of all runs is the Atatürk Stadium.
