Antecedent

Antecedent or antecedent (Latin antecedens " the Preliminary " and " cause" ) stands for:

  • Antezendenz (geology), a river is forced by persistent elevation of a transverse to the flow direction of the ridge, to cut into this
  • Antecedent, generally basic, condition, cause, condition (as opposed to a result )
  • Antecedent ( logic) ', part condition ("if " part ) of an implication
