Anthem of the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic
The anthem of the Latvian SSR ( Latvian: Latvijas Padomju Sociālistiskās Republikas Himna ) was the official anthem of Latvia during the period in which Latvia was part of the Soviet Union. After Latvia had declared independence on 21 August 1991, it was replaced by the former national anthem Dievs, Sveti Latviju! (God bless Latvia! ) Replaced.
