Description

Occurrence

The grape-like grass lily is found in South and Central Europe, Southern Sweden, Asia Minor and North Africa. Here is the kind found on rocky slopes, in open woods and on dry grassland at altitudes up to 1800 meters.

Use

The grape-like lily grass is rarely used as an ornamental stone, natural and Heidgärten. It is in culture at least since 1596. The cultivar 'Major' is bigger.
