Anthimos Kapsis

Anthimos Kapsis (Greek Άνθιμος Καψής, born September 3, 1950) is a former Greek football player.

Playing career

Kapsis played his entire career with the green and white of Panathinaikos Athens. He won with the guys from Athens five times the Greek Cup four times and the Cup. He was on the team, which in 1971 reached the final of the European Champion Clubs' Cup, but lost against Ajax Amsterdam.

International Kapsis played 36 times for the Greek national team. He participated in the European Football Championship in 1980 partly in Italy, where he retired with the team as a group Last in the preliminary round. Kapsis was twice the space.

Private

Kapsis is the father of former Greek international's and European champions Greece Michalis Kapsis with who was in Cyprus among others at AEK Athens, Bordeaux, Olympiakos Nicosia APOEL Piräusund under contract. Currently, he plays in PAE Levadiakos in the Greek Super League.
