Anthony B. Richmond

Anthony B. Richmond (born 7 July 1942 London, England ) is a British cinematographer.

Life and work

His career in film began in Richmond so as so-called Clapper loader. In this capacity, he worked on the 1965 film adaptation of Doctor Zhivago. In 1968, he first worked as an independent cameraman on a feature film production. Until today, most followed cinema productions from different genres in which he worked.

In 1985, Richmond became the first and only time so far as a director in appearance. He directed the film drama Déjà Vu, starring took his then wife Jaclyn Smith. With this he was married in 1981 to 1989. From this marriage two of his children. He is the father of two other children.

For his camera work on the film Do not Look Richmond was in mourning in 1974 won the British Film Award.
