Anthony Benna

Anthony Benna ( born September 25, 1987 in Cluses ) is a French freestyle skis. He specializes in the moguls and dual moguls mogul disciplines.

Biography

As of December 2004 Benna came in the European Cup for use and could a month later post the first podium. His debut in the Freestyle World Cup he had on 18 February 2005 in Sauze d' Oulx, the first World Cup points he won on December 14 of the same year with 18th place in Tignes. At the Junior World Championship 2006 in Krasnoje Ozero Benna won the silver medal in the moguls competition. In the World Cup he initially managed to establish itself in the midfield and missed in March 2007 as the fourth in Voss barely a podium finish. This had to wait until 18 December 2008 when he was third in Dual Moguls competition of Méribel.

Benna qualified for the 2010 Winter Olympics, but reached the Olympic competition in Cypress Mountain, only the 30th place. Due to injury, he had to omit a part of the 2010/11 season. At the start of World Cup 2011/12 season he scored two podiums in a row.
