Anthony Foxx

Anthony Foxx ( born April 30, 1971 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is an American politician. The Democratic former mayor of Charlotte is since July 2, 2013 Minister of Transport of the United States in the cabinet of U.S. President Barack Obama.

Life

Anthony Foxx, who was raised by his single mother as well as his grandparents, graduated from West Charlotte High School. Then he enrolled at Davidson College in Davidson, a, at which he graduated in 1993. At college, even he was elected the first African-American Boy.
