Anthony Goicolea

Anthony Goicolea (born 1971 in Atlanta ) is a Cuban- American photographer. He lives and works in New York City.

Life and work

Goicolea studied in Madrid ( 1989), Georgia ( 1989-1994) and at the Pratt Institute in New York ( 1994-1996). Subsequently, he was a photographer, draftsman, video and installation artist, who mainly directed and narcissistic self-portraits made ​​of themselves. In these portraits he created humorous and frightening scenarios in which he often plays events of childhood and adolescence.
