Anthony Head

Anthony Stewart Head ( born February 20, 1954 in Camden Town, London, England ) is an English actor.

Life

His parents are both from the film business; his father Seafield Head as a documentary filmmaker and his mother Helen Shingler as an actress. His brother Murray Head is a musician and was known by the musical Chess, from the dates of the 1980s hit " One Night in Bangkok".

Anthony Head has lived since 1982 with Sarah Fisher and the couple have two daughters who are also working as actresses. His permanent residence is in Bath (Somerset, England), and he owns a home in Los Angeles.

Theater, television and film

Anthony Head began his education at the " London Academy of Musical and Dramatic Art". His first engagements took him to the theater, where he appeared in, among others, Julius Caesar, Henry V, and together with his brother at the Prince Edward Theatre in Chess and was especially important as " Frank'N Furter " seen in The Rocky Horror Show.

Anthony Head has been involved in a number of television productions: he played his first role in 1978 in the twelve-part British television drama Enemy at the the Door; His first feature film was a small role in the remake of Lady Chatterley 's Lover (1982). 1992 Head went to the U.S. where he was seen in some supporting roles known U.S. television series. The real breakthrough came in America, having appeared in commercials for coffee. In the comedy series Little Britain Anthony Head from 2003 to 2006 represented the Prime Minister, who has to suffer under his fell in love with him assistants Sebastian Love (David Walliams ). In the rock opera film Repo! The Genetic Opera Darren Lynn Bousman played Head of 2008, the main role. In the same year he also acted in the television series The Invisibles with.
