Anthony Joshua

Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua (* October 15, 1989 in Watford ) is an English boxer in the super heavyweight division. He became in 2011 Vice World Champion and 2012 Olympic champion.

Boxing career

The son of Nigerian parents began at the age of 18 years with the sport of boxing and trained in Finchley ABC, London. It was as early as 2009 English novice champion and won the international " Haringey Tournament" in London. In 2010 he was English Champion, won again the " Haringey Tournament" and beyond, the British Championships in Manchester. He also defeated in country contests the Irish Chris Devanney and Chris Turner. In 2011 he was again English Champion and defeated in a country comparison fight the Swedes Otto Wallin.
