Anthony Tolliver

Anthony Tolliver ( born June 1, 1985 in Springfield, Missouri ) is an American professional basketball player. He is currently active for the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA.

The 2.06 m wide and 110 kg Tolliver, which can be used on the positions of center and power forward, played in the U.S. for the Creighton University ( Creighton University) and Iowa Energy ( NBA D- League). He was also in the training camp of the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he participated in three preseason games before he was released.

During the 2007/ 08 season he moved to the German Basketball Bundesliga for the polar bears Bremerhaven. In 20 games he made BBL average 14.3 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Polar Bears.

On 23 July 2008 Tolliver got a contract in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, after he has already played for the Summer League teams the Spurs in the NBA tournament in Las Vegas and the Rocky Mountain Revue in Salt Lake City. After 11 games in which he scored an average of 3.8 points for the Spurs, he was loaned to the Austin Toros of the D- League.
