Ff The Anti- Lebanon ( Arabic for " eastern Lebanon " ) is a mountain range which extends between the states of Lebanon and Syria about 150 km from northeast to southwest and runs parallel to the Mediterranean coast.

The ridge of the mountain marks the border between Lebanon and Syria. In the north of the Anti- Lebanon starts at the city of Homs in Syria. To the west of the Anti- Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, which separates the Anti- Lebanon Mountains Lebanon is located. In the east, the Helbun Valley are with the city of Damascus and north of the Qalamunbergland.

The highest elevation is the formerly belonging to Syria and annexed by Israel Mount Hermon ( Jabal al - Sheikh جبل الشيخ ) with 2,814 m height. It also forms the southern elevation of the Anti- Lebanon.
