The wingspan of the moth ranges from 25 to 32 millimeters. The basic color predominate light brown, light gray or pink tints. Near the root of the forewing there is a narrow, dark transverse band. The basal region is bounded by a weakly curved, black-brown transverse band. At the front edge there is a large dark triangular spot, which turns into a jagged line and towards inner margin is getting thinner. Through this line patterns, the butterflies are unmistakable. The hind wings are brown and gray show an indistinct transverse line.
