The Antietam Creek is a tributary of the Potomac River in the so-called Hagerstown Valley in the eastern United States. It arises in Franklin County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania about four kilometers south of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, where his East Fork confluence with the West Fork. After about eight hundred yards, he reached the Washington County in the U.S. state of Maryland. It ends after 66 km at Antietam above Harpers Ferry in the Potomac River.
