Antigoni Goni

Antigoni Goni (Greek Αντιγόνη Γόνη, born 1969 in Athens ) is a Greek classical guitarist.

Goni studied until 1988 at Evangelos Assimakopoulos at the National Conservatory in Athens, then from 1989 to 1992 of the Royal Academy of Music in London with John Mills and in master classes with Julian Bream and from 1993 to 1995 at the Juilliard School in New York and at Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena. In 1995, Goni the International Competition of the Guitar Foundation of America.

1995 to 2004 she headed the guitar department at the Juilliard Pre-College, since 2004 Goni is a professor of guitar at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Their recordings include works by Agustín Barrios Mangore and John Duarte.
