Antipater Etesias

Antipater II Etesias ( giech. Ἀντίπατρος Ετησίας, lat Antipater Etesias; † after 279 BC ) was a king of Macedon. He was a son of Philip and nephew of the former king Cassander.

Antipater was in 279 BC proclaimed by the Macedonians as the successor of the deposed king Meleager. After he but also proved incapable of fighting the Galatians, he has been murdered after a few months of Sosthenes.

His reign was supposedly just 45 days, according to the duration of the Etesienwindes.
