Antipater of Thessalonica

Antipater of Thessalonica ( † c 1) was a Greek Epigrammdichter. He was under Augustus teacher in Rome. Are obtained from Antipater over 100 epigrams, including poems homage to the Emperor. He died about the year 1 He is said to have written, among other things, a poem in which the seven wonders of the world are listed, but this poem both him and Antipater of Sidon is attributed (2nd century BC).
