Antique Bakery

Seiyō Kotto Yōgashiten (Japanese西洋 骨董 洋 果子 店, dt "Western Antique Cake Shop " ), also known as Antique Bakery, is a manga series of the Japanese illustrator Fumi Yoshinaga from the years 1999 to 2002. The series was as drama and anime television series filmed and won the 2002 Kodansha Manga award in the shōjo category.

The work is about a driven by four men pastry and can be classified in the genres of comedy and Shōnen- Ai.

Content

The cake shop Antique by Keiichiro Tachibana (橘 圭 一郎) it operates as a waiter and three employees. Keiichiro comes from a rich family, and like it, although he owns the confectionery, sweets not particularly. His childhood friend Chikage Kobayakawa (小早川 千 影) learns from him the waiters and so also works in Antique. His family is in the house of Tachibanas, but he is clumsy and stand to clumsy. The manga was published from 1999 to 2002 in the manga magazine Wings of the publisher Shinshokan. Later, the individual chapters were published in four anthologies. With Digital Manga Publishing the manga was published in English.

Dorama

2001, the eleven-part drama series was Antique - Seiyo Kotto Yōgashiten (アンティーク~西洋 骨董 洋 果子 店~ ) produced, directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro and Eiichiro Hasumi led. The station, Fuji TV beamed the series of 8 October from to 17 December 2001.

Anime

2008 produced studio Nippon Animation and Shirogumi directed by Yoshiaki Okumura the anime television series Seiyo Kotto Yōgashiten - Antique (西洋 骨董 洋 果子 店~ ~アンティーク) for manganese. The character design designed Akio Uchino and took over the artistic direction Tatsuo Shimamura. The series was broadcast on 3 July 2008 to 18 September 2008 by Fuji TV in noitaminA program. In the following weeks the radiations started by the transmitter Kansai TV, Niigata Sogo Television, Television Nishi Nippon Corporation and Toukai TV.

Music

The music of the series was composed by Takefumi Haketa. The group produced the bias Chemistry Title Life goes on - side K, and credits title Life goes on - side D.

Film

In Korea, 2008, a live-action film was produced for the manga, in which Min Gyu Dong directed. The film was released in theaters on November 13, 2008.
