Antoine Beaussant

Antoine Beaussant ( born 1957 ) is Chairman of the Board since November 2007 by Buffet Crampon. Previously, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of the company.

Life

Antoine Beaussant comes from a musical family and writer. His father, the writer and musicologist Philippe Beaussant, is a member of the Académie Française.

First Beaussant new technologies and publishing as managers and entrepreneurs worked in the area. He spent two years as Assistant General Director at the IT firm Capgemini Sogeti, after which he served as editor of the French art magazines " L' Oeil " and the "Journal des Arts". He also worked as a pioneer of the Internet in France, where he met with " Nart " the first online presence for art auctions as well as two other start-ups founded in 1999.

Beaussant plays oboe and has a musical education. He has sought to expand the distribution network of Buffet Crampon and founded in China in collaboration with the composer Qi Gang Chen, a branch. 2008 Buffet Crampon acquired the brands Besson and Antoine Courtois for brass instruments. In August 2010, Schreiber & Keilwerth was acquired by the group.
