Antoine Carr

Antoine Labotte Carr ( born July 23, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma ) is a former American professional basketball player who played in the NBA and Europe.

Career

Antoine Carr was on the Wichita College as a star. He participated with the U.S. basketball team at the FIBA World Championship in 1982 and won the silver medal.

When NBA Draft 1983, he was selected by the Detroit Pistons, but was staggered Carr first to Italy to Olimpia Milano. In 1984 he returned to the NBA and played for six years on the side of Dominique Wilkins and Kevin Willis for the Atlanta Hawks. In 1990 he was transferred to the Sacramento Kings, where he rose with 20 points per game for the star of the team. However, he remained only one year in Sacramento, before he played between 1991 and 1994, on the side of David Robinson, for the San Antonio Spurs. In 1994 he joined as a free agent with the Utah Jazz. There Carr came as Best sixth man off the bench. On the side of the jazz superstars Karl Malone and John Stockton, Carr reached the NBA Finals with the Jazz in 1997 and 1998. The Jazz lost, however, both times against the Chicago Bulls. His last NBA stations were the Houston Rockets and Vancouver Grizzlies, where he saw little use time as a reservist. In the last years of his career, Carr played in the ABA and unterklassigen at Ionikos IF in Greece.
