Antoine Vollon

Antoine Vollon ( born April 20, 1833 in Lyon, † August 27, 1900 in Paris) was a French painter. His first art lessons got Vollon at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts of Lyon. He then went to Paris and became a pupil of Augustin Ribot Théodule.

1864 could debut with a still life Vollon occasion of the major exhibition of the Parisian salons. In his early work, themed Vollon " flower pieces ", " kitchen interiors " or " saltwater fish " later continued with a focus on landscapes.
