Antón Arrufat

Antón Arrufat ( born August 14, 1935 in Santiago de Cuba ) is a Cuban playwright and writer.

Arrufat comes from an immigrant family from Catalonia.

After a long stay in the U.S. Arrufat came back after the revolution to Cuba. He lives as a writer in the capital, Havana.

Arrufat acted as executor of his friend Virgilio Piñera and thereby saved most of his literary work.
