Anton Coppola

Anton Coppola ( born March 21, 1917) is an American musician and composer.

Anton Coppola is part of the acting dynasty of Coppola, he is the brother of Carmine Coppola, who in turn is the father of Francis Ford Coppola.

In this sense, he was instrumental as a conductor in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992 ) and also had a brief cameo appearances in The Godfather - Part III (OT: The Godfather: Part III). There he is seen as a conductor in a film scene, which is referred to as " Cavalleria Rusticana ", because there the play of the same name is given.

Since 1950, he is married to the former ballet dancer and teacher Almerinda Coppola (born Drago ) and has a daughter from his first marriage (Susan Coppola ), and a son from his second marriage (Bruno Coppola ) and a daughter ( Lucia Coppola ) who married on 24 May 2006 Paul Golub.

Awards

In 1963 he was for a Tony Award nomination for Best Composer and musical director for the Broadway play Bravo Giovanni.
