Anton Pichler (footballer)

Andy Pichler ( born October 4, 1955 in Weiz, actually Anton Pichler ) is a retired Austrian football player and current coach. He almost spent his entire playing career at SK Sturm Graz and stands there in third place ( behind Mario Haas and Günther Neukirchner ) the record player list.

Career

Playing career

Pichler began his career as a football player at SC Weiz, in which he played from 1964 to 1974, before the Austrian Bundesliga SK Sturm Graz received an offer, which he accepted also. Professionally, Andy Pichler Disability Officer in the Department of Social Affairs of the State of Styria. He lives with his wife in Übersbach at Fürstenfeld. His son Armin was a player in the Styrian league.

Pichler was a candidate for the Bundesliga ( Austria ) to ORF - public council elections of 2001 in sports. At the end of the elections, he came up with 111 votes. The elections in the sports field was won by Stephanie Graf with 24 032 votes.
