Anton Zakharov

Anton Serhijowytsch Sakharov (Ukrainian Антон Сергійович Захаров, born February 13, 1986 in Zaporizhia ) is a Ukrainian diver. It starts in the arts and diving both in single as well as in synchronous competitions.

Sakharov participated in two Olympic Games. In 2004 he was 16th in the 10-meter platform diving and together with Roman Wolodkow fourth in the 10m synchro competition. In 2008 he was 29th in diving.

Sakharov was previously celebrate two medals at World Swimming Championships. In 2001, he won bronze in Fukuoka and 2003 in Barcelona silver, each 10 m in synchronous competition and along with novel Wolodkow. At the European Championships in Berlin in 2002, the duo won his first title, they could repeat in 2004. In the same year Sakharov also won gold from the tower, it was his first international single medal. At the 2008 European Championships in Eindhoven, he won with Dmytro Lysenko also synchronized diving from the 3 m board his first medal.
