Antonella Mularoni

Antonella Mularoni ( born September 27, 1961 in San Marino ) is a politician and judge from San Marino. She was elected for the term of office from 1 April 2013 to October 1, 2013, together with Denis Amici to Capitano Reggente (Head of State ) of San Marino.

Biography

Career and climb to the Judge at the ECHR

After finishing high school in San Marino, she with the highest score (60 out of 60 points ) acquired in 1980, she attended the School for Interpreters and Translators in Bologna and graduated in 1983 as a graduate translator in English and German from. She then studied between 1983 and 1986 Law at the University of Bologna and finished this again with a maximum score (110 of 110 points ). In 1987 she was admitted as a lawyer and notary in San Marino.

From July 1986 to July 1987 she was Political Secretary to the Minister for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, and subsequently by December 1990 Director of the Bureau for Relations with San Marinesen abroad at the Foreign Ministry. During this time she was also dated 23 October 1989 to December 13, 1990 Deputy Permanent Representative at the Euro Europe. During this period, San Marino provided the Deputy and then the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

After that she worked as a lawyer and notary from January 1991 to October 2001, before it was in place of Luigi Ferrari Bravo judge at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on 1 November 2001. In this role she took in March 2005, also participating in the 5th Congress of the European Association of lawyers in Strasbourg. This office she held until September 30, 2008. Most recently, she was from Februar until September 2008 President of the 2nd Division of the ECHR.

Political career

In addition to the professional career began early on a political career and was for several years as spokeswoman for International Relations to the Executive Committee of the Youth Movement of the Partito Democratico Cristiano Sammarinese ( PDCS ). She is also a member of the Central Committee of the PDCS. In the 1980s, she sat as a member of the Committee for equality in legislation for an amendment to the Family Code, which was in April 1986, passed by Parliament, the Great and General Council.

In January 1993, she was one of the founding members of the political movement " People's Alliance of Democrats San Marinos ( National Alliance Popolare dei Democratici Sammarinesi per la Repubblica) " and was from January to June 1993 the coordinator and last from January 1998 to December 1999 President of the APDS meeting.

In May 1993, she was first elected to the members of the Great and General Council ( Consiglio Grande e Generale ) and this was up to her appointment as a judge at the ECtHR in March 2001. During this time, she was, among other things chair of the APDS and member of the Standing Committees on Foreign Affairs, migration, information, transportation, telecommunications, and security and public order.

In the elections of 9 November 2008, she was re-elected members of the Great and General Council and on 3 December 2008 Secretary of State ( Minister ) appointed for Foreign and Political Affairs, Telecommunications and Transport.

In the elections of 11 November 2012, she was on the list of National Alliance Popolare again in the Consiglio Grande e Generale elected ..

On December 5, 2012, she broke the previous finance minister Pasquale Valentini from as Foreign Minister.

On 20 March 2013, it was elected by the Consiglio Grande e Generale together with Denis Amici to Capitano Reggente for the term from 1 April 2013 to October 1, 2013.
