Antonella Ruggiero

Antonella Ruggiero (* November 15, 1952 in Genoa) is an Italian singer.

1974 Antonella Ruggiero has recorded under the stage name Matia their first single, Io Matia as soloist.

In 1975, she founded the group Matia Bazar with Piero Cassano ( vocals, keyboards ), Aldo Stellita ( bass), Giancarlo Magazine ( drums), Carlo Marrale (vocals, guitar). The group had many international successes, including the titles solo tu, Ti Sento and Vacanze romane.
