Antoni Cieszyński

Cieszyński Antoni ( born May 31, 1882 in oil; † July 4, 1941 in Lwów, Poland) was a Polish doctor, dentist and surgeon. He is considered the founder of the Polish dentistry.

In 1907 he invented in Munich, the bisecting angle technique, a method of dental radiology.

Later Cieszyński was Professor and Head of the Dental Institute of the University of Lwów. He also was editor of Polish dental journals.

He was killed during the massacre of Lwów along with 24 other Polish professors on July 4, 1941.
