Antoni Karwowski

Antoni Karwowski ( born April 14, 1948 in Grajevo ) is a Polish painter of lyrical abstraction, and performance artists.

Life

Karwowski grew up in a small town in eastern Poland, which is surrounded by the National Park of Biebrza. His father worked as a social worker and in the promotion of culture, his mother as a hairdresser. He has a younger brother. His first painting lessons given him by his father. In addition, influenced by his Russian grandfather, who wrote poetry and old Russian songs sang, his artistic career.

After high school, Antoni Karwowski experimented alongside painting with various art forms. He lived in different places and visited several universities, worked temporarily as a miner until he was educated at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Thorn.

His paintings are in various private collections in Europe. He also received orders from companies, such as from a radiological practice in Dortmund, where he in 2005 a 53 meter long mural created.
