Antoni Stankiewicz
Antoni Stankiewicz ( born October 1, 1935 in Oleszczenice in Vilnius, Lithuania ) is a Polish -born Bishop Curia.
Life
He was ordained a priest on 20 December 1958 in Gościkowo in the monastery paradise. On 31 January 2004 he was appointed by Pope John Paul II to the Dean of the Roman Rota. On 15 November 2006 he was beatified by Benedict XVI. appointed Titular Bishop of Nova Petra. He received his episcopal consecration Cardinal Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone SDB on 16 December of the same year in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome; Co-consecrators were James Francis Cardinal Stafford and Jean -Louis Cardinal Tauran.
