Antonia Pozzi

Antonia Pozzi ( born February 13, 1912 in Milan, † December 3, 1938 ibid ) was an Italian poet.

Life

The daughter of a Milanese lawyer Antonia Pozzi grew up in a prestigious and wealthy parents. In high school, she developed a deep love relationship with their Latin and Greek teacher who influenced her life greatly.

In 1930 she began to study at the University of Milan philosophy and literature; In 1936 she was awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy. Pozzi made ​​numerous long trips through Europe. She was especially interested in this period of modern German, French and English literature. In 1938 she died in Milan by suicide. Her works were published posthumously.
