Antonio Candreva

Antonio Candreva (born 28 February 1987 in Rome) is an Italian football player who stands in the middle, and since 2012 at Lazio under contract. Candreva can play on both the left and on the right side, his preferred foot is the right one.

Career

In the club

Antonio Candreva began his professional career in 2004 in the jersey of Ternana Calcio. 2007 was followed by the age of 20 years, the move to Udinese Calcio. His debut in Serie A was Candreva 27 January 2008 against Inter Milan. But his development was rather negative, he brought it on only three bets. Therefore, he was loaned to AS Livorno in the summer of 2008.

In January 2010, he moved on loan to Juventus. Juventus had an option to purchase in 2010 50 percent of his transfer rights from Udinese Calcio in the summer. The Turin decided not to take the call and then Candreva went back to Udine end of the season.

After Candreva had played for one season on loan at Parma, he was loaned to the 2011/12 season at AC Cesena. But in January 2012, he joined on loan at Lazio, a change which was not welcomed by all Lazio fans because Candreva was regarded as a fan of city rivals AS Roma. Candreva himself denied this. After his first goal for Lazio to Candrevas reputation improved in the Lazio fans and following the season 2011/12 Lazio decided to secure a portion of the rights to the midfielder for 1.7 million euros.

In the National Team

Candreva came to many matches in all ages of the Italian national youth teams and also played in Beijing at the Olympic Games 2008. Between 2008 and 2009 he played for the U- 21 team, with whom he coach Pierluigi Casiraghi also in May 2008 tournament victory at the Tournament of Toulon reached.

14 November 2009 Candreva debuted under Marcello Lippi 's 0-0 draw in a friendly against the Netherlands in Pescara in the Italian national team.
