António Conceição da Silva Oliveira

António da Conceição Silva Oliveira, called Toni, ( born December 6, 1961 in Maximinos ) is a former Portuguese football player and current coach.

Career as a player

Toni began his career in 1980 at SC Braga. After one season, he moved to DG Riopele. In 1982 he moved to FC Vizela. In 1985 he moved back to SC Braga, where he played even 5 years ago. For the 1989/90 season he moved to FC Porto. After 2 seasons, he finished his career.

Career as a coach

2002 Toni was the assistant coach posts with SC Braga. After one season at Braga, he joined the club and became head coach at Naval 1 ° de Maio. After one season, he was released. He was coach at CF Estrela Amadora, who played at the time in the Super League in 2005. He finished the season in 9th place. For the season 2006/ 07 he joined the club and coached henceforth Vitória Setúbal. After 4 months, he was released due to lack of success. In 2007 he was engaged by Trofense CD. In his first season with Trofense he was promoted to the Liga Sagres. After he lost the first three games in the Liga Sagres, he was released. On April 5, 2009, he signed a contract (until 2011 ) at CFR Cluj. In his very first season he won the CFR Cupa României. On 14 November 2009, the contract with the club, who was leader of the League 1 at that time, was dissolved. In December 2010, he became head coach of FC Braşov. Because Ioan Neculaie, the patron of the association, after a disappointing second half of 2010/11 refused to commit some of Toni's desire players, this resigned on 14 July 2011 and was replaced by the former assistant coach Daniel Isaila. On January 6, 2012 Toni was presented by Astra Ploiesti as a successor to the dismissed Tibor Selymes, but the club parted after weak results in the first five league games on March 26, 2012 ahead of him again.
