António Lima Pereira

António José Pereira Lima ( born 1 February 1952 in Póvoa de Varzim ) is a former Portuguese football player.

Career

Lima Pereira began his career at Varzim SC, before he moved to FC Porto in 1978. In his time at Porto defender won four times, the Portuguese Championship, the Portuguese Cup twice and four times the Portuguese Supercup. Furthermore, he was able in 1987 to win the European Champion Clubs' Cup, where he did not, however, played in the final. He went on to win the World Cup and the European Super Cup this year. Furthermore, he was taken as a FC Porto player in the squad of the Portuguese for the European Football Championship 1984 in France, where Portugal was eliminated in the semifinals. Lima Pereira was used four times and got a yellow card.

In 1988, Lima Pereira FC Maia, where in 1991 he ended his career.
