Antonio Pierce

Antonio Durran Pierce ( born October 26, 1978 in Ontario, California) is an American professional American football player at the position of linebackers. He plays for the New York Giants in the National Football League ( NFL).

Career

Antonio Pierce began playing at the Paramount High School in Paramount high school football. He then spent two years playing college football at Mt San Antonio College in Walnut, before he moved to the University of California.

In 2001, he was taken by the Washington Redskins under contract, although it was not included in the NFL Draft after his graduation in 2001. Here he remained four seasons and moved on 3 March 2005 to the New York Giants, where he plays with the number 58 as a Middle linebacker (MLB) and Captain of Defense.

3 February 2008 Pierce won with the New York Giants Super Bowl XLII.
