Antonio Rolla

( Giuseppe ) Antonio Rolla ( born April 18, 1798 in Parma, † May 19, 1837 in Dresden ) was an Italian violinist and composer.

Antonio is the son of Rolla Alessandro Rolla. He initially worked in his home as a teacher of violin, in 1823 appointed him as leader was transferred to the Royal Chapel at Dresden, where he succumbed to a fatal illness on 19 May 1837.

He was highly regarded as an instrumentalist and created next to some of his works for violin and orchestra a number of recognized study works for his instrument.
