Antonio Spavone

Antonio Spavone ( born June 2, 1994, Naples ) is an Italian race car driver. He drives in the Auto GP since 2012.

Career

Spavone began his motorsport career in 2005 in karting, where he was active until 2010. 2010 he also made ​​his debut in Formula racing and took Racing for Alan participated in six races of the Formula Abarth. He remained without points. 2011 remained Spavone in Formula Abarth and switched to JD Motorsport. Except for one event he took part in every race. A fourth place was his best result. He was 13th in the Italian standings and 14th in the European rankings. In addition, he went to JD Motorsport to four races of the Formula Pilota China Series.

2012 started Spavone for Euro Nova Racing in the Auto GP World Series. After the fifth event he lost his cockpit. After a break of a race weekend Spavone returned to the last race of the season with Ombra Racing in the Auto GP back. He was charged with a fourth place as best result tenth in the drivers' standings. His Euro - Nova teammate Sergei Sirotkin succeeded in the season to win two races.
