Antonis Volanis

Antonis Volanis (also Antoine Volanis; * 1948 in Thessaloniki ) is a Greek industrial designer.

Work

Volanis worked mainly for French manufacturer since 1968. He designed only with Peugeot, Matra later in the design of the car models Bagheera, Rancho and Murena. As his most important work is considered, designed by him under the Matra Regie Renault Espace. The Citroen Xsara Picasso based on a study of Volanis.

Later he opened the office design Volanis SA in Paris and designed for Tefal, Aerospatiale, Donnay and others.

Currently Volanis works as a yacht designer, for example, for Beneteau.
