Antonius Divitis
Anthony divitis ( de Rijcke, le Riche ) (* 1475 in Leuven, † 1526 ) was a Dutch singer, choir conductor and composer.
After his training - probably in Bruges - he became a priest in 1502. He was then briefly as a choral conductor in Mechelen, in 1505 he moved to Spain with the chapel of Philip the Fair. Around 1515, he served on the French king's court as a singer. Then lose track of him, a name similarity is rise to the speculation that he had listened to 1526, the papal chapel in Rome, sure is not.
He created a variety of works of sacred music, including three masses and several motets, musically it follows the Franco-Flemish School.
