Antony Dupuis

Antony Dupuis ( born February 24, 1973 in Bayonne ) is a French tennis player.

Career

In his career so far Dupuis won a singles title and also a double. This title he reached on 7 February 2004, when he defeated in a single game Mario Ančić in Milan 6:4, 6:7 and 7:6. In Munich, he won in 2001 only to second place against Jirí Novák.

He achieved his double victory in 2004 in Long Iceland, together with Michaël Llodra against the Swiss Yves Allegro and the Germans Michael Kohlmann 6-2, 6-4.

His highest ever ranking in the world ranking reached Dupuis in 2001 when he climbed to the rank of 57.

In 2006, his career was overshadowed by a drug scandal. He was found guilty of having taken the drug salbutamol, after which he was suspended for two and a half months. He also had to pay a fine of 30 540 U.S. dollars.
