Antony Hamilton

Antony Hamilton ( born May 4, 1952 in Liverpool, † March 29, 1995 in Los Angeles ) was a British film actor.


Born in England Hamilton was adopted by an Australian couple and grew up in Adelaide. He established himself as a dancer in the Australian Ballet before becoming a model in Europe and the USA. Soon after, he was discovered by director Harry Hurwitz, who signed him in 1979 for his film Nocturna.

After he had taken over in 1984 the male lead in Samson and Delilah, he was engaged as a replacement for the late Jon -Erik Hexum of the television series fashion, models and intrigue. Before Pierce Brosnan took over the role of James Bond, Antony Hamilton was also this in conversation. Why Hamilton 's role did not get over it, there are two versions: Producer Albert R. Broccoli had spoken to one against a " fair-haired " Bond, or both Hamilton and broccoli would have been agreed that Hamilton's homosexuality for the role was not promoting. Hamilton began his acting career in television series, including " The Twilight Zone", " LA Law "and " secret mission " to continue.

Antony Hamilton passed away at the age of 42 from AIDS.
