Antti Sumiala

Antti Sumiala ( born February 20, 1974 in Pori, Finland) is a Finnish football players. He currently plays for porin Palloilijat in the third Finnish league. Sumiala is striker.

Career

Club career

Antti Sumiala has played in his career already for a lot of different clubs in Europe and briefly in the United States. His professional career began in 1991 at FC Jazz Pori, then called porin Pallo - Toverit. In 1993 he left Pori and changed for the first time abroad for Danish club Ikast FS. After working in the Netherlands and a return to Finland Sumiala competed in the season for the then second division promoted SSV Reutlingen 05. Sumiala met in 13 games twice and left Germany after the season. Finland, Turkey, Sweden and Liechtenstein were in the following years Sumialas whereabouts before he briefly joined the American Major League Soccer 2005. Since January 2006 Sumiala plays in Finland for the club porin Palloilijat.

National

1992 graduated Sumiala his first international match for the Finnish national team. Overall, he went to 2004 in 38 games for Finland, scoring nine goals.
