Anuga FoodTec

Anuga FoodTec (official subtitle: " International Supplier for the food and Getränketeindustrie " ) is the leading international trade fair for food and drink technology, food processing and packaging. It takes place every three years in Cologne. It is organized by Koelnmesse, the conceptual sponsor is the German Agricultural Society eV ( DLG).

Genesis

Born from the former Anuga -Technica and the DLG FoodTec allows the Anuga FoodTec since 1996 a comprehensive and process-oriented perspective and provides an overview of the techniques in all levels - from processing to packaging to distribution. This independence of industries, raw materials and sub-processes has made the show one of the leading information and procurement platform for the global food industry.

In the year 2012 42.986 visitors ( from 126 countries ) to Anuga FoodTec, to inform themselves out of a total of 1,289 exhibitors ( from 41 countries ) on a gross area of ​​127,000 m². The show also recorded in 2012, a growing number of exhibitors (over 10% ) and visitors ( 27%).

Young companies

To young innovative companies in marketing their products to assist in the global market, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi ) participation at selected trade fairs.

In promoting the ministry takes up to 80% of the investment cost of the exhibitor of up to 7,500 €. Companies that wish to participate in the support program, may, inter alia, be a maximum of 10 years old, employ more than 10 million € annual turnover or less than 50 employees, and must present an innovation. In 2012, more than 20 companies involved in the form of a joint stand for young innovative companies.
