Anytos

Anytus (Greek Ἀνυτος ) was in Greek mythology the educators of Despoina, daughter of Demeter.

According to Pausanias, he was one of the Titans. Because of Despoina but was brought up in many ways appropriate Persephone by Curetes and also mentioned by Pausanias at the relevant point Curetes, also in the sanctuary of Demeter and Despoina in Lycosura of standing next to Despoina, Anytus is depicted as a man in armor, which iconographically rather a Curetes equivalent, it has been assumed Anytos would be one of the Curetes.
